1. General Overview
At Ujjwal Bhaarat, we value our customers and partners. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, balancing customer flexibility with vendor and franchise operations.

2. Eligibility for Cancellation
a. For Customers
• Orders for perishable items (e.g., fresh vegetables, fruits) can be cancelled within 15 minutes of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
• Non-perishable products (e.g., groceries, household items, handmade goods) can be cancelled before shipment.
• Service bookings (e.g., housekeeping, appliance repair) must be cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.
b. For Offline Orders
• Cancellations for orders placed directly with a local franchise or vendor must be requested through the Ujjwal Bhaarat app or by contacting the store directly.
• Offline cancellations are subject to stock status and delivery stage.

3. How to Cancel an Order
Orders can be cancelled through:
• My Orders section in the Ujjwal Bhaarat mobile app or website
• Contacting customer support via email or phone (details below)
• Direct call to local franchise/vendor (in case of hybrid orders)
If your order is already shipped or delivered, cancellation may not be possible. You may instead initiate a return request, if eligible.

4. Refund on Cancellation
• If your cancellation is successful and payment was made online, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
• For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, no payment refund is needed unless a prepaid amount (e.g., partial advance) was collected.
• In case of cancellation by Ujjwal Bhaarat (e.g., due to stock unavailability), you will receive a full refund.

5. Vendor/Franchise Cancellations
Vendors or franchise partners may cancel orders if:
• Product is out of stock
• Incorrect address or unreachable contact
• Delivery constraints beyond service area
Customers will be notified via SMS/app notification and a full refund will be issued.

• Bulk orders or custom requests may have different cancellation windows based on vendor policy.
• Frequent cancellations by a user may result in temporary restrictions or account review.
